[7], 52pp, [2], original boards. Title to spine, title to head of upper cover, author and publisher to foot, in between is a rectangular panel with rounded corners into which an illustration of Appley Dappley is laid on, illustrated endpapers.
Very slightly rubbed to extremities, page forty-four is slightly rubbed, otherwise internally bright and clean. Frontispiece and fourteen full page illustrations in colour (as called for).
Now housed in a velvet lined, cloth drop back box, made by Temple Bookbinders, with title to spine, title and author to upper cover with the illustration from the front cover of the book replicated onto the front cover of the box. Box is very slightly rubbed to extremities.
