[4], 426pp, [4], original vellum in original glassine DJ, title in black to spine.
DJ slightly browned, with chipping to foot of spine and corners and five small holes to upper panel. Light discolouring to spine, hint of foxing to edges of text block. Internally bright and clean, unopened.
Printed in red and black, with a tissue-guarded frontispiece by Reginald Savage.
This is number six hundred and eleven of seven hundred and fifty copies, from the library of Laurence Hodson, but no evidence of this. This was the third book from the press.
