Later (mid - late18th century?) morocco, slightly raised double bands, spine in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, publisher to third, remaining panels with central floral spray surrounded by a lozenge made up of small tools with acorn corner pieces, covers with thick fillet bordering a flower head and leafy stem roll frame, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, a.e.g., with spot pattern marbled endpapers.
Spine slightly faded, small hole to head of spine, rubbed with some slight cracking to leather towards fore-edges. Lightly browned internally, occasional light spotting, but generally clean, previous owners' book plate to front pastedown.
Red ruled throughout. Signature Ii misbound but complete.
