viii, [4], 610pp. Rebound in modern full calf, smooth spine, divided into six panels by gilt roll and rules, original morocco label to second panel, covers bordered with two double fillets enclosing an elongated volute roll in blind. Original title label slightly chipped, otherwise externally very good indeed. Internally the title and preface are foxed, with light foxing throughout, occasionally heavier, title slightly chipped to extremities, with small number to top right hand corner.
