Full morocco, smooth back, divided into six panels by Greek key roll, title in gilt to second panel, first and sixth with lattice pattern, the remaining panels with small central roundel, covers with rolled border, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, a.e.g. 'stormont' pattern marbled endpapers.
Spine slightly faded, covers unevenly faded, minor rubbing to extremities, with small amount of loss to leather at foot of outer joints, rear outer joint and to rear inner edge. Internally very lightly browned, but generally clean.
From the library of Earl Eldon, with his name and bookplate to reverse of front marbled endpaper.
