198pp, rebound in full morocco by Temple Bookbinders, raised bands, spine in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, illustrator to fourth, remaining panels framed with gilt double fillet, upper cover with gilt design replicated from the original cloth, gilt roll to edges and inner dentelles, a.e.g. marbled endpapers.
Externally near fine, internally very slightly browned, the final illustration has a small mark, but generally quite bright and clean. With twelve, tissue guarded, tipped in colour illustrations by Nielsen (as called for).
Housed in a cloth, velvet lined, slipcase, with the gilt design from the original cloth again replicated to the front of the slipcase
