[6], 7-93pp, [1]. Original boards in original printed glassine DJ, decorative endpapers, frontispiece and fourteen colour plates, with other illustrations to text. Original glassine DJ browned, chipped to spine ends with a couple of small holes to centre of spine, foot of lower panel slightly chipped and creased with small amounts of loss, otherwise fairly complete. Spine browned, slightly rubbed to extremities, spine ends slightly chipped, board edges a little rubbed. Previous owners name to ffep, otherwise internally fairly bright and clean. First edition, first or second printing (see below). Linder, page 429, noting the two issues dated 1912 are believed to be identical; Quinby 21
