Eight volumes complete - Volume One - xxxviii, [2], 440pp; Volume Two - xxxvi, 619pp, [1]; Volume Three - xxi, [1], 526pp; Volume Four - xix, [1], 544pp; Volume Five - xx, 540pp; Volume Six - xi, [1], 502pp; Volume Seven - ix, [1], 500pp and Volume Eight - [4], 457pp, [1]. Later full polished calf by Zaehnsdorf, semi-raised bands, spine in five unequal panels, morocco running title label to second panel, contrasting title label to the elongated third panel with art nouveau style border and flower, small date label to fifth panel, first panel with flower device, flower head device to fifth, covers with line and scallop frame, flower head corner pieces, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, t.e.g., marbled endpapers.
Spines slightly darkened, some rubbing to extremities, rear joint of volume one worn, slight chipping to head of spines of a couple of volumes, 'crazing' to upper cover of volume three and lower cover of volume eight, small abrasion to upper cover of volume eight. Internally lightly browned, eight leaves in volume eight have the corners broken where they have been folded and are now brittle, previous owner's bookplate to front pastedowns, otherwise internally fairly bright and clean.
