Rebound in full morocco by Temple Bookbinders, raised bands, spine in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, author to fourth, date in gilt to foot of spine, all panels with gilt double fillet border, covers framed with crossing single fillet, small flower tool to corners, gilt roll to edges with gilt decoration to inner dentelles repeated from the front cover, a.e.g., with a fore edge painting.
Externally fine, internally very lightly browned but clean. Now housed in a watered silk lined drop back box, made by Temple Bookbinders, with the phoenix from the original boards replicated on the front cover of the box and a new paper label to spine.
Number thirty of one thousand copies, signed by Lawrence to limitation leaf. This copy with a fore edge painting by Martin Frost of Lady Chatterley and Mellors.
With the correct typographical errors, correct chain lines and no paper watermark.
