Two volumes complete - Volume One - xxii, [2], 462pp and Volume Two - x, [4], 500pp. Rebound in full morocco by Temple Bookbinders, smooth backs, calf title and author label to head, with calf volume label to foot, gilt fleur-de-lis joined by gilt rules to spines, covers bordered with gilt single fillet, with the upper covers replicating the gunboat and Churchill's signature design of the original cloth, edges and inner dentelles gilt ruled, a.e.g. Housed in a cloth velvet-lined slipcase. Externally fine, internally some light foxing, occasionally heavier, especially to fore-edge margins, but generally clean. Ten folding maps to volume one and nine to volume two (as called for).
