Original full green vellum, author and title in gilt to spine, with small golden cockerel device to foot, gilt roll to edges, t.e.g. Covers slightly splayed as often, green colouring slightly patchy, with red mark to upper cover, bottom portion of lower cover discoloured. Internally quite bright and clean, with fifteen wood-engravings by Buckland Wright, the suite of extra plates are present.
