Two volumes complete - Volume One - xi, [1], 303pp, [1] and Volume Two - viii, 296pp. Contemporary full calf, raised bands, spines in six panels, morocco title labels to second panel, volume number in gilt to fifth, old private library labels to third.

Chipped with small amount of loss to spine ends, rubbed, rear joint of volume one is split, holding on cords, but weak. Internally some off-setting from plates, some marginal soiling, previous owners name to head of title, with armorial ink stamp to front pastedowns, but generally fairly bright and clean.

With forty-one aquatint and colour plates (as called for), including two folding. First published in 1809.
