Unpaginated, collates a-b8, A-Kk8, Ll4; A-P8. Contemporary full morocco, smooth back, spine divided into six panels, covers with flower head and leafy stem roll border inside a dotted roll frame, upper cover with George III's coat of arms to centre, a.e.g., gilt roll to inner edge, spot patterned marbled endpapers. Rubbed to extremities and outer joints, gilt dulled to upper cover, internally lightly spotted and occasional browning, but generally clean. With the bookplate of William IV (son of George III) to front pastedown. Griffith 1787:4; North Lee, British Royal Bookplates 170 (b) (without 'Royal Library' at base, "perhaps intended for personal books")
