Three volumes complete - Volume One - A8-Y7; Volume Two - Y8-Nn2 and Volume Three - Nn3-Aaa4. Contemporary full morocco, raised bands, spines in six panels, volume number to top section of second panel, remaining panels divided into four, each section with flower head tool, covers with double panel design, a double fillet bordering an outer panel with volute corner pieces with a feather and flower head tool with volute pyramids to centres, the inner panel made up of a double fillet and roll with a flower head joined to corners by semi lines, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, a.e.g., comb and curl marbled endpapers.
Spines slightly faded, corners bumped, rubbed to extremities, especially outer joints, but still attractive, split to foot of front outer joint of volume one but holding well. Internally lightly browned, but generally quite clean, repair to foot of B8 with one or two words obscured, but no real loss of sense, several small closed marginal tears, previous owner's name to ffep's (Elizabeth Keith Lindsay).
