Three text volumes and one plate volume (complete) - Volume One - x, [2], 439pp, [1]; Volume Two - [2], iv, 499pp, [1]; Volume Three - [8], 495pp, [1] and Volume Four - Plates. Text volumes in full contemporary calf, smooth spines divided into six panels by gilt double rules, morocco title label to second panel, small round volume labels to fourth (these absent), old private library stickers to first panel of volumes one and three. Folio plate volume in half calf and marbled paper over boards, smooth spine in seven panels, morocco title label to second, small round volume label to fourth (again absent), with old private library label to third. Volume two has been rebacked to style, with some loss to title label, rubbed to extremities, especially corners. Internally some occasional light dust staining, very light water staining to fore-edge of last few gatherings of volume one, the signature letters to the foot of the pages often have a name in pen written by the side, but generally quite bright and clean. The plate volume has occasional light dust staining, mainly to margins, the folding maps to rear are slightly edgeworn with a couple of small tears to folds, but generally fairly bright, complete as per list.
