Name and place in a neat hand to head of half-title, two further names and an 'in memorium' note to head of dedication page, small ink mark to fore-edge of pages 96-99, otherwise quite bright and clean. With eight full page colour and twenty-two full page black and white illustrations by H.[enry] J.[ustice] Ford, (1860-1941), a friend of Burne-Jones and influenced by him (see Houfe, The Dictionary of 19th Century British Book Illustrators, page 140)
