Three volumes complete - Volume One - [8], iv, 231pp, [1]; Volume Two - [6], vi, 239pp, [1] and Volume Three - [6], iv, 280pp, [6]; plates. Later half-morocco and cloth, raised bands, spines in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, author / volume to third, remaining panels with double fillet frames, gilt roll to bands, a.e.g., curl and spot marbled endpapers. Slightly rubbed to extremities, bump to upper edge of volume three. Internally bright and clean, with almost none of the off-setting often found, small repair to head of title in volume three. Binding is by Zaehnsdorf. A total of one hundred and four colour aquatints as called for, with the half-titles. Originally issued in parts, this copy is almost certainly bound from the parts, with the correct watermarks of 1806 and 1807 and with the errata uncorrected except for that on page 218 in volume one and with at least six (probably seven) of the twelve 'key' plates in first states. Abbey Scenery 212; Toovey 7; Thomson 606 and Adams 99
