iv, 114pp. Wyld's map of India, coloured, dissected and mounted on linen, with index, bound as a book, marbled endpapers. Small map of the world as a frontispiece and a smaller map of the India bound after the advertisement leaves. The map of India itself measures 695mm x 990mm. Extremities rubbed, spine worn. Endpapers and ffeps with newspaper cuttings about India pasted down. Map very lightly browned, a couple of minor abrasions and creases, but generally in good order. First issued in 1841, this is dated 1857, documenting British East India Company control over India, and showing distances between cities, as well as the growth of the railway.
