Three volumes complete - Volume One - [4], 360pp; Volume Two - [4], 294pp and Volume Three - [4], 354pp, [2]. Sympathetic modern half calf and marbled paper over boards, smooth spines divided into six panels, matching title and volume labels to second and fourth panels respectively, remaining panels with blind tooling. Very slightly rubbed to extremities. Internally each volume has an old owners name to head of half-title and first leaf of text, occasional small nicks and marks to margins. In volume one L10-12 with small tears to bottom margin, N1 has been remargined to fore-edge, P4 is stained to bottom corner; in volume two D12 has had the bottom corner repaired, E11 has a small piece of fore-edge margin repaired, F12 has fore-edge of page replaced; in volume three F6 has a closed tear across width of leaf and there is a stain to fore-edge margin of M10-12. Now housed in a leather entry cloth slipcase made by Temple Bookbinders. Quite an attractive set of Austen's third novel. Gilson A6
